(Eastman, GEORGIA)— Great Oaks Bank director Wade Hall has been named the 2023 Warnell Distinguished Alumnus by the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at The University of Georgia. Established in 1993, this award is presented to a graduate of the Warnell School in recognition of their contributions and commitment to the school, their profession, and their community.
A 1991 Warnell graduate and a registered forester, Hall is president and CEO of Stuckey Timberland, Inc. in Eastman, GA. He serves as Chairman of the Georgia Board of Registration for Foresters and as a director of the Georgia Forestry Association and Forest Landowners Association. A past Chairman of GFA, he was previously recognized as a Champion of Forestry. One of his significant contributions to Warnell was his involvement in the donation of Stuckey Timberland property to the school which endowed the Stuckey Professor of Forest Economics and Taxation.
