(EASTMAN, GEORGIA)— The Board of Directors of Great Oaks Bank announced that the bank’s Eastman office conference room has been designated "The James H. (Jim) Green Conference Room” in honor of its longtime chairman. A resolution honoring Green was presented at the Eastman Dodge Area Chamber Business After Hours event hosted by the bank at its Eastman office yesterday.

Green has served as a director of Great Oaks Bank, formerly known as Citizens Bank and Trust Company, since 1986 and as chairman of its board since 1996. He has actively supported and provided leadership to many organizations in the Eastman and Dodge County community, including Eastman United Methodist Church, Eastman Rotary Club, and Dodge County Airport Authority. The Board of Directors of Great Oaks Bank acknowledged the many contributions Green has made to the bank and the community and chose this opportunity to honor him in a meaningful and lasting way.

Great Oaks President & CEO Mike Odom stated, "It is an honor to recognize Jim Green in this significant way. His dedication to the bank, sound leadership, and dedication to the community are truly commendable. It is always a pleasure to sit in a meeting with Jim; his enthusiasm and positive outlook are contagious. Our board and management have valued his counsel for many years, and I look forward to many more.”
