(Richmond Hill, GEORGIA) Great Oaks Bank is pleased to announce that Dana Potts has joined the organization as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Potts brings more than 28 years of experience in financial leadership, operations, compliance, and organizational strategy across community and regional banking institutions.
In her new role, Potts will oversee the Bank’s financial strategy, operational performance, and regulatory compliance, while partnering with executive leadership to align financial resources with Great Oaks Bank’s long-term strategic goals.

Throughout her career, Potts has demonstrated a strong ability to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. Her accomplishments include significant reductions in non-interest expense, substantial increases in net income, successful mergers and acquisitions, core system conversions, capital raises, and branch expansions. She is widely recognized for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to building high-performing teams.
Potts holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with an emphasis in Banking from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received numerous academic honors, including the M. Albert Burke Banking Award. She is actively involved in community and philanthropic organizations, including service as a Trustee of the Georgia Southern University Foundation, advisory board member for the Adrian Peterson Foundation, and former president of the Glennville Chamber of Commerce.
