Brad Brookshire EVP, Chief Risk Officer

Brad Brookshire joined Great Oaks Bank in 2018 as Chief Credit Officer. He joined the team to lead the expansion efforts to bring Great Oaks Bank to Coastal Georgia, opening branches in Richmond Hill, Pooler, and Savannah, Georgia. Brad has been in banking for over 15 years, leading commercial and retail teams to strategically grow market share in a targeted and defined MSA. A proud University of Georgia alumni, Brad also attended The Georgia Banking School at UGA and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He has served the community in many roles, including Past President of the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill, Richmond Hill Exchange Club, and Richmond Hill Historical Society. He also served two terms as a Bryan County Commissioner. Outside the office, Brad spends time with his wife, Carrie, and their two young children, Jack and Grace Anne. Most weekends, he can be found playing golf and cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs.
