(EASTMAN, GEORGIA)— Great Oaks Bank announced that Candace Summerall has joined the bank as a Mortgage Loan Originator. Candace is based at the bank’s Eastman office but will help customers with home financing throughout the middle Georgia area. She has been involved in all aspects of real estate starting in 2000 as a closing specialist with one of the fastest-growing real estate closing attorneys in Atlanta. After earning her real estate agent's license, Candace continued her education to obtain her broker’s and Georgia Real Estate Instructor’s licenses. In 2020, she transitioned to mortgage lending.

Born in Middle Georgia, Candace is excited to return to the area to serve the community professionally and personally. As a Savannah resident for several years, Candace was involved with several community organizations including American Diabetes Association, Buy Local Savannah (Executive Board member), the Kicklighter Resource Center (board member), Savannah Jaycees (Executive Board Member), Center for Blind and Low Vision, and Savannah Development and Renewal Authority. She is looking forward to partnering with like-minded community ambassadors and developing new relationships.

Candace loves live music, performing terrible karaoke, attending concerts, and cheering for Georgia sports teams.

“We are excited to welcome Candace to the Great Oaks team,” said Lee Lister, Middle Georgia Market President. “Her extensive knowledge and experience in the mortgage industry will be a huge asset to the bank and a great benefit to our customers.”
